A fossilised Wooly Mammoth tooth fragment on a fabricated steel stand. Handmade by our Hertfordshire blacksmiths.
The tooth and is from either Mammuthus trogontherii / Mammuthus primegenus species. The dentine can be easily examined very closely, the mammoth goes through six sets of teeth as it grows.

Fossil size and colour may vary, but will be a close example of the photo shown.
