The arrival of a new minibeast is a big event in our house, we gather round the box and wonder what type of insect we will have today, every time we discover the new addition to our collection it’s met with ‘WOW!’ As we all take a look at the new addition.
We love these, the colour of the insects, it’s creative, high quality specimens and frames and educational.

Insanely Beautiful

I am so happy with this purchase. This is my new favorite in my collection. The butterfly is larger than I expected and the colors are so vibrant and beautiful it looks like a creature from a different planet! It never ceases to amaze me the quality of work you guys do for a very reasonable price (please don't raise your prices I need to continue feeding my obsession).

Magically Vibrant

Exposure therapy

As someone with arachnophobia who also has a love and passion for all insects, this specimen has helped me overcome my fears!

I can admire arachnids but could never fully appreciate them as the sight would be too much for me. Having this specimen on my wall and in my sight daily has helped desensitise myself and I can now fully appreciate all it's beauty.

It's a perfect specimen of an impressive size!

Big and beautiful!

A beautiful and distinctive specimen that acts as the centerpiece of my collection wall!
Despite having 'giant' into the name, this species was much bigger than expected in person, with all it's appendages and limbs on display it perfectly shows off every detail in the carapace, claws, tail and legs.

Iridescent beauties

Truly amazing specimens!
The iridescence of the wings on all three species are so eye catching the second you see them, it's breathtaking the spectrum of colours present on the wings.
While being the smallest of the trio, the Madagascan Sunset moth is a standout and when shifted in the light has flashes of bright pink, purple and blue flashes on the orange hindwings that I've never seen in pictures.
Quickly became one of my favourite frames and spends more time off the wall being admired up close than on display!

Perfect specimens!

The three species are beautifuly displayed in a large frame and perfectly compliment each other. The differing wing patterns and vibrant colours are amazing up close. A must have frame for any fan of hawk moths!
Looking forward to mounting these three in my growing collection.

I have to admit I first gained a love of Peacock Butterflies when I was a kid playing Animal Crossing. This specimen could NOT be more perfect. Super vibrant colours, and really well done mounting! Shipping was shockingly fast, and the frames were really well padded to make sure nothing broke.

Beautiful Moth but...

I love this species, it's absolutely gorgeous! Shipping was way faster than I had anticipated, and the package was cushioned to the MAX to make sure nothing was broken on the way. My one problem with this order is that, as seen in the picture, the thorax of this moth is collapsed which is really sad. I would've hoped that, considering how expensive this was, I'd have a higher quality specimen.

Beautiful Specimens

This frame was my first every purchase from minibeast and the start of my collection, the two moths are perfectly displayed to show off thier beautiful markings and massive wingspan.
The natural mimicry and sexual dimorphism of the species is stunning to view up close and so many details in person that a picture doesn't properly convey.

Bug-tastic

I’m usually more of a butterfly and moth person, but this bug is sparkly and iridescent! I have a great love of all the wildlife from Madagascar, so this little guy had to be part of my collection.

I love the whimsical name and it is a very good sized specimen. Now all caught up and hopefully I won't delay detailing next month's surprise. I can't wait...

25th Frame - Female Longhorn Beetle

The horns are excellent and it is very well presented. A lovely and slightly different addition.

This really is the most elegant butterfly. Nothing common about it!

23rd Frame - Monotypic Grasshopper

As always, when there's a problem the customer service team leaps into action. First specimen arrived with a damaged leg, a new one was immediately dispatched. Hop hop horray!

22nd Frame - Shaded Blue Leafwing

Apologies for the multi-review dump, life has got ahead of me a bit but I'm catching up and the last few specimens have brought joy each month. This butterfly has lovely teal flashes.

The Greatest of all Time!

A true bucket list minibeast addition to my collection, this Hercules Beetle is gigantic, dwarfing almost every other beetle including Goliaths and Long Horns. Excellent specimen with vibrant colouring in the sunlight. Truly a magnificent acquisition and an absolute must for an serious collector! Thank you team!
