The arrival of a new minibeast is a big event in our house, we gather round the box and wonder what type of insect we will have today, every time we discover the new addition to our collection it’s met with ‘WOW!’ As we all take a look at the new addition.
We love these, the colour of the insects, it’s creative, high quality specimens and frames and educational.
Best subscription I’ve ever paid for, we’re at the start of our collection, can’t wait to get more and more!

Monthly Moths (and Butterflies)

This has been such a great investment. My work takes me away from home for long periods of time and this has been the perfect way to have something nice to surprise my girlfriend with while I am away. Our apartment is quickly being filled with some great specimens and I'm always excited to see what shows up next.

Perfect Centrepiece of Tessellation

I think the ventral and dorsal colours on this moth are stunning and it has made for an impressive centrepiece of a wall tessellation.

As always, presentation is flawless within the frame and the frame itself, and delivery was as quick as anyone could hope for a bespoke item.

I truly recommend this specimen and have not received any so far that have not exceeded my expectations.

Gorgeous!

The only birdwing I have that's presented on the ventral side, and it's the right way round I think - this species actually looks pretty similar on the dorsal and ventral sides but the yellow markings on the ventral side are more interesting and more clearly defined. This is another really huge specimen and as always immaculately presented by the team at Minibeast

First framed butterfly

This is the first framed butterfly I've ever owned and it is beautiful! The specimen is perfect. The blue colour changes in the light like magic.

Definitely would recommend getting one if you love butterflies.

The must-have moth for every collection!

I had one of these when I was a kid - such a fascinating moth, I think it would be a great addition to any collection even without the famous skull pattern on it’s back, but it’s that and the link to Thomas Harris’s book that makes it such a must-have species I think. As with my other specimens from minibeast, it’s immaculately presented in a well constructed frame that hangs easily on my wall. Stunning.

Eighth Frame - Giant Bush Cricket

I think this incredible specimen is my favourite so far! The top wings look like dried leaves, whilst the bottom gossamer thin wings have exquisite green veins and tips. An amazing creature. I can't stop looking at it!
