We have lots of different oddities in the house but this is by far my new favourite. It's beautiful and with the light over the top it really sets it off!

Majestic Monarch

A must for me! I grew up seeing monarchs outside and had to have one! It's beautiful but note this is the underside so the colors are more dull compared to the top of the wings.

Like little jewels

These weevils are incredibly beautiful each one has its own slight difference in pattern and all are strikingly shiny, a real fascinating collection to look at and compare with each other

I can see Clearwing now the rain has gone

This Clearwing specimen is perfectly preserved and pinned. The glass dome really elevates what some people might see as a comparatively plain butterfly into an eye catching piece. I would recommend the brown wooden base option.

Perfect Centrepiece of Tessellation

I think the ventral and dorsal colours on this moth are stunning and it has made for an impressive centrepiece of a wall tessellation.

As always, presentation is flawless within the frame and the frame itself, and delivery was as quick as anyone could hope for a bespoke item.

I truly recommend this specimen and have not received any so far that have not exceeded my expectations.

Stick Insect

My latest addition to my collection was A stick insect which adds a difference to my collection which is starting to build into a very nice and colourful collection, still pleased with the subscription so far.

Iridescence Green

To start my collection, I wanted a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes. I originally picked the Peacock to get the color green in my mix (which apparently is pretty rare). After seeing it in person, it is now my favorite butterfly! It's a must have for any collection with its iridescence green and gorgeous wing shape.

Great Subscription

I can’t explain why but this subscription has me hooked.
It’s the best thing to open a monthly surprise from Minibeast.

Well what can I say, another exceptional pair of Specimens from Mini Beast.

My collection from them is getting quite large now.

Gorgeous colours

Really fine and vibrant specimen. As per, it’s beautifully and sympathetically presented. There was some small debris after transit but as advised on the card I was able to easily remove this by opening the frame

The neon beauty - Paris peacock

Couldn't be happier with my first mystery specimen!
The black wings are so dark with microscopic dots of colour that flash like neon when the lights hit them. Even the small eye markings at the bottom of the wings have a fluorescent violet and red when held at the right angle.
This is a beautiful butterfly and a great first suprise specimen

Looking forward to mounting it on my collection wall and opening next months creature!
