A stunning Allotopus beetle with wings spread in a handmade wooden frame mounted on high-quality acid-free conservation board. The Latin and common names are printed underneath the specimen.
The Allotopus beetle can grow to 4-8 cm long it is a golden green coloured. The jaws can be seen pointing towards the top, in a tooth shape. Larvae are laid and develop in rotten tree trunks.
