CITES Birdwing Butterflies

Birdwing butterflies are in the swallowtail family, that belong to the genera Ornithoptera, Troides and Trogonoptera. Due to their amazing size and stunning coloured males, they are very popular among collectors. All birdwings are now listed by CITES thereby limiting International trade. All our specimens have been imported legally according to CITES-convention and EU-law and can be traded without restriction within the European Union.
