A beautiful Thamyris morpho butterfly in a handmade wooden frame mounted on high-quality acid-free conservation board. The Latin and common names are printed underneath the specimen.
The Thamyris Morpho belongs to the Papilionidae family of butterflies. The species was named by Leonte portis Hübner in the 1821
Its wingspan reaches 7 to 8 centimetres (3 in).
The specimen will have had its body removed by the farm as they contain grease which destroys the wings.
