Automeris metzli Moth In Box Frame
An Automeris metzli in a handmade wooden frame mounted on high-quality acid-free conservation board. The Latin and common names are printed underneath the specimen.
Automeris metzli is a moth that is part of the family Saturniidae. These moths are found in Mexico ranging to Venezuela, Columbia and Ecuador these are also found in Trinidad. They have an eye-like pattern on the lower wing to deter predators.
The wingspan of these moths are around 8-11 cm
