An opulent Green-banded Jewel beetle in a handmade wooden frame mounted on high-quality acid-free conservation board. The Latin and common names are printed underneath the specimen.
These beetles are extremely beautiful and very common. They have dark metallic green elyrea with a thick black band with yellow bands inside. It is a wood boring beetle and the adult generally emerge in June.
