Elephant Hawk-moth or also known as Deilephila elpenor is a moth in the family Sphingidae. The name Elephant Hawk-moth derived from the caterpillar's resemblance to an Elephants trunk. This moth is most common in Central Europe. It Has sensitive eyes that all it to see colour even at low-light and it is the first species in which nocturnal colour vision was documented in animals.

Its wingspan reaches 6-7 cm.
