A beautiful Sulkowsky's Morpho butterfly pair in a handmade wooden frame mounted on high-quality acid-free conservation board. The Latin and common names are printed underneath the specimen.
The Sulkowsky's Morpho or Morpho sulkowskyi is a neotropical butterfly that is found in Colombia, Ecuador and Peru in tropical forests above 800 to 1500 meters. This stunning specimen has a holographic blue shine.
Its wingspan reaches 8 - 9 centimetres.
The specimen will have had its body removed by the farm as they contain grease which destroys the wings.
