Fossilised Mosasaur tooth & root displayed on a fabricated steel stand. Handmade by our Hertfordshire blacksmiths.
The Mosasaur was made up of a group of extinct, large marine reptiles, containing 40 genera in total. The first-ever fossil for this dinosaur was discovered in a limestone quarry and was one of the most dominant marine predators around.
The Largest Mosasaur found is in the Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre and is around 17 meters in length.
The fossil you receive will be a very close example to the one shown in the photo.
