Palawan is home to a variety of fascinating butterflies, but one species that gets a lot of attention the Trogonoptera trojana. Due to it's remarkable sizer and colour, it is extremely striking. Commonly known as the Palawan Birdwing, it is among the largest butterflies found in this region, with a wingspan reaching approximately 18 to 19 centimeters. It ranks as one of the most impressive butterflies in the world.
