The Yellow Emperor is also known as Gonimbrasia (Nudaurelia) Dione. Nudaurelia is a large genus of silkmoths found in Africa, counting 50 different species. These remarkable moths have golden yellow males with beautiful pink to purple markings, the females can be darker but still a vibrant orange.
Its wingspan reaches 9-12 cm.
