Gorgeous

This specimen is incredible, and the green colour is gorgeous.

Absolutely stunning!

A really beautiful and very large piece! This is the largest piece in my collection so far and it is a real show stopper. Beautifully made frame that shows off the moth perfectly. A lovely reminder of my time in Madagascar!

Incredible !

This is my favourite purchase of my whole collection. These are some of my favourite species & they’re difficult to come across I find. So I’m very grateful!

My dancing Beetles!

We love these, I think they’re everyone’s favourite too. We call them our dancing beetles! The colours are still really vibrant which is nice as I know some things lose their colouring! 10/10

Brilliant!

I’ll be honest it’s bigger than expected which was really good for me! I love it, it fits perfectly in my collection

Absolutely stunning

This is an absolutely stunning specimen with the most beautiful and vivid colours. Really well made and good quality. Small but mighty!

Minibeast Club

I always feel so much anticipation every month when my Minibeast club package arrives. This month I received a beautiful peacock butterfly. I don’t buy many butterflies, so it was a nice change to get something so different to add to the collection, and the colours in this butterfly are beautiful. Thanks Minibeast.

Minibeast club

This month I received a beautiful bush cricket. I have a real soft spot for grasshoppers, crickets and katydids, so I was delighted when I opened my package to find this glorious specimen. I couldn’t be happier. It really is beautiful with its big green and clear wings, I couldn’t stop looking at it when it first arrived. Thanks Minibeast.

Blue Morpho Butterfly

I don’t have many butterflies in my collection, but I am so glad I decided to get this one. Photos and words do not do this amazing butterfly justice - the iridescence and shine on the glorious blue wings is something you have to see in person to truly appreciate. A stunning eye catcher!!! Thanks Minibeast.

East African Bush Locust

This locust is one impressive beast. It has a very long, robust body, and is bigger than I imagined. The orange wing colour is quite vibrant, and the stripes on the body ensure it stands out. I love looking at it on my wall. Thanks Minibeast.

Green Flower Beetle

This little insect may not be big, but it sure packs a punch. The white elytra contracts beautifully with the pearlescent green. Even his little legs are green. A very striking little specimen. Thanks Minibeast.

Walking Stick Insect

I cannot stop looking at this male/female pair of glorious stick insects. The combination of the beautiful yellow wings with the thick black band on the female and the black and white wings on the make is stunning. Not to mention the almost metallic green body on the male. This is one of my favourite frames. Thanks Minibeast.

Giant Stag

A really impressive shiny black stag beetle. Their mandibles are eye-catching from any distance they are viewed from. Thanks Minibeast.

Blue Cicada

Yet another gorgeous cicada, with stained glass wings featuring a beautiful blue/torquoise colour. Really eye-catching on the wall.
Shout-out to all the guys at Minibeast for yet another amazing specimen.

White Ghost Cicada

This cicada is absolutely beautiful. Very delicate looking for quite a decent sized insect thanks to its transparent stained glass-like wings. Even its body looks more delicate thanks to the light grey colour and dark bands. I don’t know what took me so long to purchase this cicada - an amazing insect that I can’t stop looking at. Thanks Minibeast.

Giant Forest Ant

The thought of coming across hundreds of these in a pack is scary - it is huge!!! So much more impressive in person. A really cool looking specimen. Another great job from Minibeast - thanks guys.

Giant frog leg beetles

These guys have quickly become one of my favourite frames. I don’t know why I didn’t purchase them sooner - they are just so special. Beautiful shiny colours and so cute with their big back frog legs. Love, love, love!!! If you don’t have these guys, you don’t know what you are missing. Another great job by Minibeast.

Rainbow Stags

These are so metallic in person - truly remarkable. One of my set arrived with two legs and it’s whole head off and rattling around in the frame - thank goodness it was an easy fix with some superglue and now you would never know. I have bought a lot of specimens off Minibeast and considering I live in Australia, this was the only time I have had to fix something - a testament to how well the items are packaged for postage. This set is expensive, but they really are gorgeous and add something special to a collection.

Giant Rainforest Cicada

This is a truly gorgeous cicada. The details in the wings has to be seen in person, not to mention the colours on the body. From a distance, it looks like a black cicada, but as you get closer it transforms right before your eye’s the patterns come to life. An amazing specimen. Thanks Minibeast.

18th Frame - Green Emperor

I have always wanted a dragonfly so you can imagine my delight when I received one this month. It is sad the green is not more apparent. I imagine this is something to do with the preservation process.

17th Frame - Orchard Swallowtail

Simplicity in black and white and a very large specimen too. Apologies for the delayed review, but as you can see it sits perfectly next to my Atlas moth pair.
