So pretty

Although the purple isn’t as obvious as I’d hoped it’s still a beautiful piece.

The wing size is impressive and it truly is stunning.

Wow

This is my first non moth or butterfly.
My favourite colour is purple so I decided for my first other insect it should be this beauty.

First of all my impressions were wow the colours are fantastic. What a huge critter and then….ew leg spikes.

The crown of my collection

Captivating for any collectionner, this Madagascar endemic butterfly doesn't disappoint! As pretty as it is, it's also just as useful, playing a crucial role in pollination.

Looking stunning on any shelf

I loved it before I had it. You simply can't have a collection without it! It's a very high quality specimen, best placed in a room where it can catch all light phases through the day.

Batman! No, wait, it's a cicada

Some eat them, some write about them, and some collect them. My largest glass dome specimen so far, it's a central piece.

A glass in another glass

The most delicate specimen of my collection so far, as a curiosity, this butterfly is able to carry up to 40 times its own weight.

O. priamus urvillianus pair

Really lovely. I requested that minibeast set them ‘the other way up’ so one can see the gorgeous male underside and subtle female dorsal side. Great service as always.

So Beautiful!
