A magnificent Banded Jewel Beetle in a handmade clear glass box frame, allowing you to see both sides of the specimen. All of our frames are handmade with precision in the UK meaning we have full control over the process.

The Banded Jewel beetle belongs to the Buprestidae family of beetles. It has an incredible reflective purple abdomen, with purple spots and cream. A head that has to be seen to be believed, sprinkled with a red diamond-like surface.

Its wingspan reaches 4-5 cm.
