Dicranurus Trilobite fossil displayed on a fabricated steel stand. Handmade by our Hertfordshire blacksmiths.

Dicranurus is a genus of Lower to Middle Devonian odontopleurid trilobites. It lived in a shallow sea, this fossil is set into a composite matrix.

Fossil Age: 400 million years old

Fossil Size: 11.4-12.7 cm

Stand Height: 15.2 cm

Age: Middle Devonian

Got this for my new office! Preparing to set this up for the meantime. Wow, what an amazing little guy. So crazy how old this guy is and how well it was preserved. 200 something dollars was the best price I've seen these go for too, so I was super excited to pick it up.

Shipping was really fast and item was packaged very well and with great care - plenty of bubble wrap in a good sized box. A small piece of moth was unfortunately loose in the frame on arrival although I could see no damage at all to the moth. Seller replied really quickly to my message and was able to advise me.
