A beautiful Female Comet moth in a handmade wooden frame mounted on high-quality acid-free conservation board. The Latin and common names are printed underneath the specimen.
The Comet moth is an African moth, native to the rainforests of Madagascar. The moth is also known as Madagascan moon moth. The male is a slightly smaller variation and has a wingspan of around 8 centimetres and a tail span of 10 cm.
