The Ornithoptera tithonus, it is one of six different subspecies. An extremely large, special and rare specimen, the species is becoming increasingly endangered due to deforestation. However, conservation projects in Papua New Guinea have done an amazing job in protecting the species, allowing us to work closely in providing you with these spectacular collector's item.
