A Small red winged stick Insect in a handmade wooden frame mounted on high-quality acid-free conservation board. The Latin and common names are printed underneath the specimen.
This amazing species is classes as a medium-sized stick insect, both the male and females showcase extremely small wings. The purpose of these tiny wings isn't for flying, but for displaying to other insects when threatened. They are far too small for flying.
