Septeyre, a combination of calcite, chalcedony, and aragonite, is formed when cracks appear in solidified silica found on the seafloor and fossil stones. As the egg cracks due to shrinkage, colonies of micro sea organisms settle into the cracks, leading to their classical polishing into an egg shape and appropriate naming as "Dragon's eggs."
