The Koh-i-Noor can be found from India to Sikkim, Assam and onto Myanmar. The butterfly has a wide range in Southeast Asia, from Malaysia to the Indonesian archipelago and the Philippines. William Harry Evans & Mark Alexander Wynter-Blyth have claim the butterfly to be rare west of Myanmar in the early-mid 20th century. The wingspan can reach up to 4cm (1.57 in) for males.
