Deaths Head Hawk moth belongs to the family of Acherontia. The skull-like pattern and its fanciful associations with the supernatural and evil have fostered superstitious fears of the species. The name Atropos is from a Greek myth and is related to death

Its wingspan reaches 10-12 cm.

Eucorysses grandis or also knon as the Deaths Head Bug, Man Faced Stink Bug or the Smile Bug. is part of the family Scutelleridae. They get the name from the skull on the outside of the elytra.
