Tabithas Swordtail

I normally purchase spiders and beetles and other insects, not moths and butterflies. This is the reason I purchased the minibeast club - to ensure a great variety within my collection. This butterfly did not disappoint. The patterns and overall look of this butterfly are gorgeous. I could not be happier, and cannot wait until my next minibeast club delivery. Highly recommend!!!

Leaves or insects?

A true testament to Mother Nature at her finest - are they leaves or insects? The colours are gorgeous, and the actual insect has to be seen to be believed. A real conversation starter about the diversity in this world around us. Truly amazing!!!

Blue beauties

This trio of blue weevils may be small, but they sure do pack a visual punch. I am in love with their little blue legs, and the little love heart shapes on their wings. They are just so bright and beautiful. They arrived very well packaged and the frame and staging is as wonderful as ever.

Our subscription never gets boring!

Every month genuinely is a delight with the variety of specimens, colours, shapes and sizes. I don't think we're ever going to get bored! This little lady (no idea if that's right) is adorable. ????

Looks almost see through!

It's hard to remind ourselves that the patches of white on the wings aren't some elaborate skeletal structure that we can actually see through! It really does look like it though. So pretty!

The detail on this beetle is beautiful! We have several now but every time we get a new beatle with our subscription it never disappoints!

We get such variety with our subscription and this one really surprised us! It's huge!! And our resident entomologist didn't know this bug existed so it has pride of place at the top center of our collection!

Best money I spend every month

I guess buying minibeast's isn't the traditional version of pocket money, but my autistic, anxious and shy almost 18 year old is a budding entomologist and has been obsessed with bugs ever since he was little. Instead of pocket money, we've had our monthly subscription for well over a year and he's still so excited every single month to see what's arrived! Still waiting for a big spider to come along one day though. Thank you for this month's surprisingly big box that got everyone excited to see what was inside!

Dark blue wings hide the incredible shiny structural veins, a really unusual feature, which has meant I have hung this butterfly lower down the wall so they can be appreciated on closer inspection.

Minibeast club
