Absolutely flawless

The pictures don’t do this damselfly justice. The irredecant colours change from blue to green depending on the light, such a lovely addition and happy that I finally have a damselfly in my collection

Had to buy a second one as a gift!

I have a few pieces from mini beast so far. I will say that while the moths are indeed beautiful, they are much more dull in person than in pictures; although this may just be attributed to the camera. I was a bit disappointed nonetheless, partly because the female’s wings.

Overall, just not as impressed as my first order, especially considering the price of these two. Still, it looks lovely. Just not sure if the quality lived up to the price tag this time around

The patterning is hypnotizing. My only regret is not getting the Japanese Owl Moth for contrast.

The start of my collection

This is my first purchase from mini beast and the quality and aesthetic of the piece has got me hooked!

I cannot wait to acquire more! Although, they are quite expensive, it is the quality that you’re paying for. And it is quality that I got :)

Great specimen

I have a long standing joke with a friend who is terrified of spiders, especially golden orb weavers, that I was going to get one for when he comes over.

Admittedly it was going to be a live one, I still can’t wait for him to see it!

I cannot recommend Mini Beast enough.

Huge Atlas Moth

This is quite the specimen. Absolutely huge, much bigger than expected. In addition the colors are amazing and pattern quite striking. A really eye-catching piece. Super happy with the choice.

Incredible Moth

This is an amazing moth, the colors and pattern are quite striking. Very impressive to look at. This is certainly one of the new favorites in the collection. Really appreciate having it in the clear glass, allowing for viewing from both sides.

Great little butterfly

This is a beautiful, small butterfly. The colors really stand out. Love having it in the dome and being able to view from all angles. The dome feels solid and it was very well packed for shipping.

Amazing Stick Insect

Really please with this specimen. The colors are even brighter than expected, especially the pink color of the wings. Really beautiful piece. Frame also feels well built.

Triceratops!

Once I saw this specimen listed, I knew I had to add it to my collection. My students have wanted to see a triceratops specimen up close, and this was a perfect opportunity to inspire wonder for them. The artwork is also amazing-looking!

Amazing camouflage!

I have been teaching my students about animal kingdom camouflage, and seeing their faces as they marveled over the dead leaf butterfly was worth it! The wings look exactly like fallen leaves. Nature is impressive!

Beautiful!

The wing pattern in the rice paper butterfly is just perfect! It's also alot bigger than I was expecting & I wasn't expecting to like this as much as I actually do! I'm so happy I decided to add it to our growing collection! Definitely recommend the rice paper butterfly!!

Mammoth Moth

This moth is gigantic. It has a very beautiful and unique design on it. The yellows aren't as bright as they look in photos on the site. It is a very beautiful specimen and I would definitely recommend it.

Green Beauty

This is a great example the best colours nature has to offer. The Greens are magnificent in person. It's small but commands attention. Looks blueish in the dark.

Magnificent Eyes

Firstly, I was surprised by the size of this butterfly. It is alot smaller than I initially thought. Secondly it alot lighter brown with white highlights rather than in the dark brown it is portrayed in the picture. Masterpiece of nature.

Like a painting

My second month of mini beast club and I was expecting it to be a dull month just because the first was so bright but I was stunned.

The specimen is so pretty, it’s hard to believe it’s real. The colouring looks almost like a painting.

So excited to see what month 3 brings.

Electric blue beauty

My first reaction out of the box was woooooow. The colour is beyond what pictures can do justice.

I also love that in different light you can see the symmetrical patterns in the wings. It’s a good sized frame too, a real centrepiece.

The most beautiful colour

Colour-Shifting

Depending on how you look at this butterfly and what lighting it is in, it gives off an array of different colours which change each time I look back at it. This has to be one of my favourite pieces in my collection.

So blue!

This butterfly has a lovely deep pigmented blue colour that reminds me of the ocean and tropical places. It’s such a beautiful piece and brings me joy to look at up on display. Everything I wanted and more.

Agrias butterfly

Very nice vivid colour, perfect in a decorated frame!
The only thing that I think would improve the frame is if the name of the butterfly was at the bottom of it, like it is in the standard frames.

Not knowing what butterfly it is takes some charm out of the overall effect, it could put me off buying more decorated frames in the future....

But overall I'm pleased with the purchase
