The Most Clourful Owl: Caligo Uranus

"Caligo " is supposed to refer to its dark jungle habitat So I was surprised to find this gold and purple stunner. The subtle purple iridescence was all I hoped for .

Vibrant

The specimen is extremely colorful and vibrant. The dome is secured in the base as well. This was the first order my wife and I had ordered with nothing but satisfaction.

Amazing!

This was my fourth purchase, and it definitely didn't disappoint.

As usual, great service!

Super pretty

Lovely print, looks great with a couple others around it. Fast delivery, really great!

Beautiful quality

This print is absolutely beautiful - the quality is fantastic and I would highly recommend.

STUNNING!!!

Oh my gosh this is absolutely beautiful! My mum has started collecting the Mini Beast Butterflies and she’s going to be over the moon. Amazing quality and incredible colours

Absolutely beautiful!

A really beautiful specimen in excellent condition. Depending on the incidence of light, it also appears in slightly violet tones in addition to the blue.

Looks always good

Very strong colors. Some butterflys need sunlight to show their beauty. This one always look good.

Stunning

It's so beautiful, and I am so happy for my butterfly I can't wait to buy more. I have loved blue butterflies since I saw them in thwe disney Tarzan movie as a kid and now I finally have one.

Darker butterfly

This butterfly needs some light, that you see his true colors. Very nice show effect, if you make some smartphone light at night on it. People will be surprised about the colors.

Awesome green

This butterfly delivers what it promises. It is very green!

YouTuber builds his studio

I am a YouTuber and previously used a blue paper wall for filming. My living room didn't look so pretty because of it. I wanted to change that and came across Minibeast.
I took out a subscription and ordered 13 more objects. In the photos you can see how I transformed my new studio. More frames have already been ordered! :-)

My favorite white butterfly

The Great Nawab offers the greatness of white color. Especially with dark wwalls like mine dark blue it sticks out.

MUST HAVE for your collection

This butterfly is big and the color looks very beautiful in the sun. Even at night with darker TV light you can see the blue clearly because its little bit brighter.

Elegant moth

If you want a smaller species, take this to your collection.

HUGH! :-o

This moth is HUGE. Watch it in my picture in comparison to other butterflys and moths. Totally worth it! Recommend 100 %.

Go for the XL-version

I like the bigger frame. It makes the moth look more "wow".

Beautiful yellow color

It gives a nice contrast to my blue butterflys. :-) And I like that the frame has a high format. Most butterflys have a landscape format. So it's good for gallerys walls.

Small colorful butterfly

This butterfly is perfect to fill out spaces. It has some special vibe with its colors.

Blue from another world

I tried to capture the blue with my iPhone Pro Max. It wasnt possible. By far my favorite butterfly. Trust me, it's worth every penny.

Double trouble :-)

The shiny green color really stands out. A nice contrast to my other blue objects.

Lovely

This lil guy is seriously too cute in person, lovely bright cheerful colours. Spectacular

Midnight beauty

This butterfly really is very dark in person, best viewed with bright direct sunlight shining onto it. It is a gothic starry night wonder

Really special

This butterfly really is something special , I do believe it has set off the beginning of an obsession with Morphos and I feel like I want them all now. The way light reflects off the wings in a holographic effect brings me nostalgic memories from my childhood

Wow

What a beauty this lil guy is, he is my absolute favourite. Something so mysterious and different about him he really is a curious little thing - almost other worldly

Bright and cheerful

This butterfly puts a splash of summer cheer into my collection the colours are lovely. I would of liked to of seen information in discription that this butterfly faces the other way around as the pattern on his wings are under them not over like all my others which makes his positioning and shadow different

Big Beauty

This fella is a beast, his wings outlined with white makes him look like he’s been cut out of a book very original. His pattern and shading is gorgeous however can be hard to see this without bright sunlight shining directly on him

Dark

I was really excited about receiving this little firey boy, unfortunately in my house - perhaps it is just not bright enough but he mainly looks black unless I get up close and shine a torch on him. His middle colour is what makes him stand out and he has an antiquey look about him over all

Bold

Love the modern artistic flare of this butterfly , like it’s straight from a drawing. The colours really do pop - when direct light is shined on them. Best in a sunny spot or infront of lamp to really see it’s full beauty.

Unique

Love this little butterfly, I actually had no idea when buying it that it was see through but this is really what makes this little creature so special. When the light hits certain ways it creates the illusion of double wings

Very pretty

Colours are fantastic another really lovely one.

100% one to collect

The colours are even more vibrant in person it is beautiful. One of my favourites

Stunning

Beautiful colours! One of my favourites i have collected so far. Cant wait to get some more

Beautiful

Lovely specimen what a great addition to my collection

Own a piece of ancient history

Looks great on my living room wall. Bigger than expected. Humbling to own something hundreds of millions of years old. My first purchase from minibeast. Will definitely return in the future and recommend to others. I don't know if acquiring a trilobite is possible. Would be a cool addition.

Looooove this!

I originally joined the club back in 2022 and love the quality of the items I have received.

Planthopper In Clear Glass Frame

This guy is so neat! Beautiful coloring and looks great.

Red Flasher in Clear Glass Frame

Very beautiful butterfly. I bought 2 different ones and they are both perfect.

Great Blue Moonset Butterfly in Clear Glass Frame

Item is very beautiful and looks just like the photos. I will continue to buy from minibeast!

Stunning

Beautiful specimen, vibrant colours which shimmer in the light and change slightly depending on the angle you look it it. Beautifully preserved and presented in a quality frame. The start of a collection I am sure.

L. thibetanus katsurai

A lovely beetle. Really pleased with the three stag beetles that arrived today. Service from minibeast excellent as always.

C. metallifer finae

A beautiful, dainty little thing. Little compared to some of the huge Coleoptera on this site, anyway. Wonderfully set and framed as usual!

O. lacordairei

A beautiful specimen: elegant and intricate. Wonderful service from minibeast as usual.

Incredible

Nature just continues to astound me and the Madagascan Sunset Moth is an incredible example of how breathtaking beautiful and magical life is. This is a wonderful specimen with spectacular iridescent wings that remind me of glitter in the sunlight.

Gorgeous

The blues and greens in this moth are so vibrant and absolutely gorgeous. A great addition to my collection.

Even better in person

This Blue Triangle butterfly is even prettier in person! Once you’re looking at the real thing you see the gorgeous blue ombre hues that don’t come across well on a screen. Easily one of my favorites in my collection.

Love

This butterfly is the perfect deep, rusty orange color, and it looks extra vibrant against the crisp white background and frame. Another great addition to my collection.

Perfect pop of yellow

I wanted a yellow butterfly to tie in with some of the yellows in my living room, and this little cutie was the perfect addition. A really rich and bright golden yellow. Very happy to have this in my collection.

Gorgeous frame and moth

I purchased this death’s head moth for my daughter and it did not disappoint. The moth and baroque corner frame perfectly fit her darker, slightly macabre aesthetic and she loved it.

Winged Giant

This thing is huge! Absolutely magnificent.

Wow!

When the light of the sunrise hits this moth, its vibrancy fills the room. Stunning specimen!

A singularity

This specimen is truly one of a kind. Its shades of pink are subtle but jaw dropping nevertheless. I love it.

Show stopper

This is one of my favorite insects. Its horns remind me of a crown and its spread wings really commands your attention.

Vibrant.

If you’re working to build a collection, this hawk moth is a must have. It’s discernible from any angle.

Uncanny

I knew these insects were a marvel but, when you actually receive it and are able to view it up close, it’s surreal. The likeness to a leaf is extraordinary. Wonderful specimen.

Unexpected gem

My partner insisted this was his favourite of all the creatures available on the site. I was quietly reluctant about ordering it, since it wasn’t as breathtaking as the other specimens, in my opinion.

But once it arrived I was shocked at how I fell in love with this specimen. There’s something indescribable about seeing this creature up close and in person. It may even be my favourite of everything I have ordered so far!
