This Clearwing specimen is perfectly preserved and pinned. The glass dome really elevates what some people might see as a comparatively plain butterfly into an eye catching piece. I would recommend the brown wooden base option.

I honestly didn’t expect the moth to be that big! It’s absolutely beautiful, argema mittrei is my favorite moth. Worth the long wait.

The three ‘Mothsketeers’

This is a lovely trio of Hawkmoths. The specimens are presented in good condition; the green colour of the Oleander hawk-moth I particularly like. The Death’s Head is always a winner in any presentation format owing to its eye-catching skull pattern and colour combination. A little reading about its behaviour in the wild will only add to how you see it in the frame.
The middle Privet Hawk-Moth balances out the other two colour wise with a subtle pink, mainly on its abdomen.
The shape of the frame lends itself well to a slimmer section of wall if you’re hanging it.

Overall, very pleased with the purchase. Will be (and have been) back for more.

Although the item obviously varies (sometimes quite significantly) from what’s in the photo, it’s still a wonderful piece and as always the shipping is impeccable

Priam’s Birdwing

I bought this butterfly as a centre piece of my collection, and it is so beautiful! A really deep blue with purple hues on the lower wings. I received really good service from Mini Beast who responded quickly to any questions I had. I did send the first specimen back as it was slightly damaged, but the replacement was just perfect.
