Stag Beetle for my grandson

I purchased a Stag Beetle (Odontolabis sommeri) for my grandson who is a budding 11 YO entomologist. He was delighted with it, also I was extremely pleased with the sales, after sales communication and delivery process.

When I had the chance to get one I was so thrilled! A truly amazing specimen, so fun to see the underside.

The colours just pop so well againat the frame bwing black, and when close you can see its eyes and fuzzy legs!

Devils Mantis a clear 10/10 purchase

Another gorgeous piece by Minibeasts. The combination of wood and green moss really puts this specimen to another level.

The detail of its pinning and mounting to its final position makes it look as if itll move! My variation looks awesome with one arm slightly closed, really showing the fine details. The colours are amazing and really show how these creatures can be some of the most beautiful!

I am so pleased to have gotten this Mantis in the dome. Looks perfect against the fireplace and the other domes I have!

Rich Textures

I love this specimen! It doesn't have as bright, shiny, vibrant colors as some of the others do, but that's not why I bought it. I bought it for it's rich textured colors that just look sophisticated. It did not disappoint! Yet another banger from Minibeast! Great quality work!

Insanely Beautiful

I am so happy with this purchase. This is my new favorite in my collection. The butterfly is larger than I expected and the colors are so vibrant and beautiful it looks like a creature from a different planet! It never ceases to amaze me the quality of work you guys do for a very reasonable price (please don't raise your prices I need to continue feeding my obsession).

Rock lover rejoicing

I love this little chunk of meteorite. I love collecting rocks, but this is my first meteorite I have purchased and i'm fascinated by it. The presentation in the glass dome makes me feel like I have a little museum in my home. The only thing I wish I had more of was the origin story. This does come from a letter of authenticity from MiniBeast saying it was "checked and verified by the team" but what sources were checked, how was it verified, where and when was the meteorite collected. Where and when did the meteorite reportedly crash to earth. I'd love to know those bits of information.

So Pretty!

This specimen is so lovely. The colors and natural designs on the wings are wonderful. I am blown away by the craftsmanship in the presentation of the specimen and the quality of the glass jar as well as the great value for what you receive! I'm very happy about my purchase.

Jaw Dropping!

This was my first specimen I purchased in a glass dome and as soon as I unboxed it I was jaw dropped at how immaculate and beautiful it was! I specially ordered floating shelves that would hold the large glass domes. This one needed a 9'' square shelf because if it's size. Because the wings are so large and the blue wings are so vibrant it almost looks like there is a battery powering the specimen inside. I'm immediately addicted. The only downside I see is that I now want to buy all of the glass dome specimens on the site,

I love the vibrant colors!

This specimen is beautiful and has big bold vibrant colors. I love the large splash of yellow on the wings! It makes me happy and pause for a moment every time I pass by it on the wall.

Just a lovely addition

I bought this as a set of 3 I selected for my wife. This is me and my wife's favorite because of how delicate and transparent the wings are. It is a great addition to our home. The white frame really makes it pop.

A Must Have

On our wall of framed butterflies, beetles, and other insects, the shine on this beetle will immediately draw your eye to it over everything else. The sheen of gold on this beetle is truly beautiful.

Spotted sawtooth

The markings are my favourite thing about this little guy from India and South East Asia. The yellow and grey against the bold black pattern are stunning.l and they contrast beautifully with my coral pink wall. So many compliments from friends and relatives!

I just love this little guy - his wings have a stunning pattern and shape. His colours are striking and vibrant. He’s one of my favourites from Minibeast and I’ve had so many compliments.

I really like the beetle pairs and hope minibeast will stock some other varieties. I asked for a different sized frame and this was easily accommodated. I would recommend this pair.

Toilet treasures

We live in a Victorian Schoolhouse built in 1862 so what could be more fitting than a Vintage Entomology Giclee print (plate from 1907). We’ve hung it next to some preciously purchased butterfly specimens - also from Minibeast. We love the contrast between the coral pink walls, the black frames, white frame mount and beautifully coloured butterflies.

Large specimen

Pleasantly surprised at the size of this butterfly, I’m not massively a butterfly collector but this one with its many eyes on the underside of its wings just visible through its transparent milky blue wings I thought would be a interesting addition to my collection, it didn’t disappoint.
