A Douvilleiceras Ammonite in a handmade wooden frame mounted on high-quality acid-free conservation board. The Latin and common names are printed underneath the specimen.

Douvilleiceras ammonites are remarkable marine fossils that thrived during the Cretaceous period, roughly 100 to 66 million years ago. Characterised by their coiled, spiral shells adorned with intricate ribbing.

The fossil you receive will be a very close example to the one shown in the photo.

Approx Size: 4.5 Inch

Fossil Age: 100 million years old.

Period: Late Cretaceous
