This cicada is absolutely beautiful. Very delicate looking for quite a decent sized insect thanks to its transparent stained glass-like wings. Even its body looks more delicate thanks to the light grey colour and dark bands. I don’t know what took me so long to purchase this cicada - an amazing insect that I can’t stop looking at. These are so metallic in person - truly remarkable. One of my set arrived with two legs and it’s whole head off and rattling around in the frame - thank goodness it was an easy fix with some superglue and now you would never know. I have bought a lot of specimens off Minibeast and considering I live in Australia, this was the only time I have had to fix something - a testament to how well the items are packaged for postage. This set is expensive, but they really are gorgeous and add something special to a collection.
